Where do incoming text messages arrive?

Open your Blacktel account to read incoming SMS for your number. Sending a reply requires a number with outbound SMS support.

Is this the free SMS tool?

Can I send international SMS?

Use a number with outbound SMS support and enter the recipient's full international phone number. Check the destination rate and available routes before sending; rental and message usage are charged separately.

Which devices can I read messages on?

Sign in to your Blacktel account in a supported browser to read your incoming SMS. A physical SIM in that device is not required; you need an internet connection.

How long can I keep my SMS number?

Keep the number active by renewing its rental plan. Prepaid renewal is manual; subscription renewal uses the credit already in your Blacktel account. Check the remaining active time in your dashboard.

How do I choose a number for SMS verification?

Start with the guide for the service you want to use, then choose the country and a number with incoming SMS support. Keep access to the same number for later sign-ins and account recovery.

Read SMS sent to your rented number through your signed-in Blacktel account. If you enable message forwarding or email notifications, copies can also arrive at those destinations. Review those settings when choosing who has access to your messages.
